Dodoma

Dodoma is the capital city of Tanzania . The city was founded during the German colonial government. After the British occupation of the city as the result of the First World War I, Dodoma became a regional and administrative center. Tanzania won independence independent in 1964. After the referendum in 1973 Dodoma become the capital. Until then, the capital city had been Dar es Salaam, where a large part of the government authorities is located even now. The biggest tourist attractions in Dodoma are the Roman Catholic and the Anglican church. Then there is a small airport waiting for reconstruction in the future.
