Today is Deer Cave known as second largest cave passages in the world – the largest cave Hang Son Doong one was discovered in 2009 in Vietnam. The Deer Cave is opened to public unlike the largest one and every year more than 25 000 visitors come to admire it. The Deer Cave is more than 100 meters high, 160 m wide and 4 kilometres long. The most popular part of the cave is known as Garden of Eden. There is a hole in the roof of the cave and the light can come inside – and visitors can admire rich green vegetation of the cave. In the cave there are also four magnificent waterfalls. The Deer Cave was named after deer whoe came there to find shelter and also to lick the salty rocks. Today the cave shelters more than 3.5 million bats that fly out of the cave every evening in a huge flock as they are looking for food.
