The Dalešice Reservoir is an artificial lake located in the middle course of the river Jihlava, near the cities Třebíč and Náměšť nad Oslavou . The Dalešice Reservoir was built between 1971 and 1979. It has two pools: one at Kramolín and the other near the village Mohelno . The Dalešice Reservoir was built as a source of water for the hydropower plant, as a flood control, as the supply of water for the nuclear power plant Dukovany and for providing water for irrigation of land. more »

The reservoir also serves for recreational purposes. Steep hillsides, in places up to 50 m high, border the valley of the dam. Together with the ruins of Kozlov Castle and Holoubek Castle, they create a beautiful scenery. At the same time, the Dalešice Reservoir is a paradise for fishermen. Since 2007, there has been a water transport operating on the dam with stops at Kramolín, Dalešice, Hartvíkovice, Třesov and Koněšín.
