The Cliffs of Moher belong to the largest and most visited tourist attraction in Republic of Ireland
. It is considered to be the most beautiful coastal stretch of Western Europe. The cliffs are located on the west coast of Ireland, in the Burren
karst area. They are washed by the Atlantic Ocean. The Cliffs of Moher are about 8 km long and up to 200 m high. Their mightiness, and the breaking waves leave a deep experience for anybody who arrives to admire them. There is no entry fee to the Cliffs of Moher. However, if you come there by car, you will pay 8 euros for parking. On the highest cliff there is the O'Brian´s tower - a lookout tower. When the weather is good, you can spot the Aran Islands, the Galway Bay and the summits of Connemara
. People who prefer the view of the Cliffs of Moher from the sea level, can travel on a cruise ship that runs from the port in Doolin. The cruise costs 10 - 15 euros.
