Chianciano Terme is easy to access by car, train or by air. By car, use the motorway - Autostrada del Sol (A1) from Roma to Florence . You can exit the motorway at Chiusi , which is only 15 km far from Chianciano Terme. The nearest airport is in Florence that is connected with all major European and Italian cities. There is a smaller airport (Sant'Egidio) in Perugia . Chianciano Terme is easy to access by train, too. You just get on the train from Roma to Florence and get off at the station in Chiusi . It is called Chianciano Vecchio and it is located on a hill - so you can identify a part of the fortification, preserved up to our times, very easily even from the distance. If you enter the town through a breathtaking Renaissance gate named Porta Rivellini, you will be enchanted by the crooked lanes and little squares in the historical core of the town. The place obviously has a specific atmosphere. If you get tired, you will definitely enjoy a break in a café or a restaurant. Chianciano Terme is proud of several well-preserved churches, for example, the Church of Immacolata (Chiesa dell'Immacolata) built in 1455.
