There are actually seven ski centres at the resort called Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, and they are connected by means of a ski bus. The epper parts are elevated at 3800, and 90 percent of skiing runs are located at altitude of over 2000 m. This means that there is absolutely no reason to worry about snow... For adrenaline-loving skiers there is a twenty-kilometre long piste, whose elevation is 2800m . It is led down through Vallée Blanche Glacier valley to Aiguille du Midi - but this skiing run is recommended only with an experienced guide. .

Les Grandes Montets, Argentiere and Mer de Glace glaciers are known for quality snow and unlimited freeride skiing. In addition, there is a good quality snowpark for snowboarding, too. Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is an ideal place for cross-country skiing. There are total 42 km of cross country skiing trails of various difficulty levels.
