In 1975, the castle was once again reconstructed. Within the castle complex, there is a baroque church with beautiful frescos inside. Today, the Agricultural Research Institute is seated in the castle. By the end of the 18th century, Beethoven spent a considerable time there, so a museum dedicated to him was established on the ground floor of the castle. The Brunswick Castle is surrounded by one of the largest English parks in Hungary , which was proclaimed a protected nature reserve. Most of the park is accessible to public but a smaller part of it is closed and serves for scientific purposes. In the complex, you can also visit the Museum of Maternity, a lake with a small island, where concerts of Beethoven's music are annually held..
