The oldest preserved castle construction, the Old Tower, dates back to the 13th century. The Boldogko Castle was expanded and reconstructed in the 14th century. Besides the inner castle, an unusual triangular tower was erected. The Boldogko Castle was renovated in 2002. Both towers and the guardhouse are accessible to public. A wooden footbridge goes from the lower courtyard to the ramparts. There is a nice view upon the Hernád river valley and the Zemplín Mountains..
