Besedicke Rocks lies above the left border of
Jizera river near village with the same name in Czech Paradise area. Besedicke rocks are divided into two parts. Rock labyrinth called Kalich and Chleviště. There is a footpath, which will give you informations about the most interesting places around. Chleviště is much bigger and heterogeneous that Kalich. Its name is dated into historical times, when villagers was hiding its cattle before soldiers. You can find here a cave called by Vaclav Sadovsky from
Sloupno , who lost his jewels during escape before army. Today, there jewels are saved in Turnov museum. In Besedicke rocks, you can also find a lot of beautiful view points. The rock labyrinth Kalich offer more secrecy. In the middle of rocks you can also find an altar with globtet. On the walls around, you can find written notes from J.A. Comenius and J. Vitasek monk.
