The swimming resort has been in operation since 1969. The Beach Swimming Resort Tornaľa comprises an artificial lake that occupies approximately 17 000 m2 , and a 50-metre-long laminate swimming-pool. The water is supplied from a water well called Blue Eye. It is drawn from the depth of 155 m. The premises include a children pool with playgrounds. A part of the facility is a campsite with a hostel and log cabins. The Beach Swimming Resort Tornaľa is open from May to September, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m..
