Bahrain World Trade Center
The Bahrain World Trade Center are two high skyscrapers in Bahrain . They are located in the capital city Manama . Both skyscrapers are 240m high and comprise 50 storeys. The construction work on the Bahrain World Trade Center was commenced in 2004 and it was completed in 2008. The design comes from an South African architect named Sauna Killa. The construction of Bahrain World Trade Center cost 150 million U.S. dollars. It is interesting that the two skyscrapers are connected with 3 wind turbines. Each of them has a capacity of 225 kW. This is the very first building in the world with integrated wind turbines.
