Ari Atoll is the second largest atoll of the Maldives . It is divided into a northern and a southern part. This archipelago consists of 105 islets. We can find here steep walls with rock outhangs covered with corals. Tourists can meet here cow shark, barrakudas and sea anemones. The next interesting place of Ari Atoll is the Maayafushi Thila. It is a coral formation, as well as the natural habitat of the whitetip reef shark, a huge amount of soft corals and schools of reef fish. The Orimas Thila is also worth visiting, because it is a good place for snorkeling.
