Amsterdam is the largest city in the Netherlands . It is a popular tourist destination for people from all over the world.
A bit of history
Amsterdam was founded as a fishermen's village on the banks of the Amstel River in the 13th century. The town was proclaimed a city in 1300.
Venice of the north
