Algar Seco is a place where colors often change during the day , following the position of the Sun..

Access

From the main road from Portimeo, in the direction to Carvoeiro, after some 6 kilometres turn right. Leave the car on the car park and continue on foot. You can admire the marvelous views of the Algar Seco at the car park already - you will see goldish rocks of various forms in contrast with the dark blue sea. Having climbed up the steps, you will reach the central part of the rock formations. There is a little blue lake whose depth changes according to the tides. Besides the beautiful nature, Algar Seco offers relaxation at the bar or on a little lovely beach right inside the rocks.
