Abu Dhabi is the center of major trade in the Middle East. It is also a popular tourist resort. It is proud of white beaches, large gardens and parks, luxurious shopping centers, hotels, cultural centers and a number of restaurants. The most luxurious hotel in the city is the Emitares Palace. The hotel has the most modern and the most luxurious conference hall. The most famous street in the city is the Corniche Street, which is 8km long. One of the buildings in this street is the Hilton Hotel with a lookout terrace on the roof which provides an unforgettable view of the city. Another interesting attraction in Abu Dhabi is Al-Hosni Palace (White Fortress) from 1793. It has been a memorial now. There is number of small mosques in this city, of which the largest is the Blue Mosque. The smallest mosque is situated on the Roundabout Street. The oldest part of town is the quarter named Batin.
