Bakony is a mountain range in Hungary, spreading along the western bank of Balaton Lake. It is located between the cities Veszprém, Pápa and Ajka. It is well-known for tourist resorts Balatonfüred with Annagora Water Park, Hévíz and Keszthely with a chateau owned by the Festetics family. There is a ski-resort in Ajka. Among other visited destinations are castles Kinizsi, Szigliget and Sümeg.
